Heavily influenced by Hip hop, LEESY is a photographer by day and Boom Trap influencer by night. She received a BFA from Parsons and works out of New York, New York.
“I would scream and felt like no one heard me, through that experience I remained nonchalant and allowed my lyrics to cry with hope for progress as a people while I paint portraits of light that detail the enigmatic journey of black womanhood. My work sits in a realm that parallels urbanness with professionalism.”
